The Ambode March And The Lousiness Of It All

Recently, the minuscule governor of Lagos state of Nigeria, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode spearheaded a series of activities to show solidarity with women who he claims are invariably battered by men.

He failed to address the issue of marital violence with the wholesomeness it deserves. ..as he left out male battery by females. ..in vocal and physical terms.

I wonder which woman Ambode can possibly beat up.....considering his tiny frame? It is highly probable that he was beaten up by girls when growing up.

And instead of talking about marital violence on a general scale, he pointedly ignores brutality on men by physically stronger women....as if the latter variant is right.

And to have glossed over the potency of female tongues as wives emotionally tear down hubby egos and drive them to suicide is rather disgusting!

I think he seized on the matter to leverage towards 2019.

He acted lousy by playing politics with such an issue.
