Whose Word Would You Believe...The Lawyer Or The Pharmacist?
You see them in their "sofes"....as they wear their short-sleeve lab coats over long-sleeve shirts....as they return from a day-long sojourn in their labs, and you marvel: "these pharmacy guys dey rigour o"!
Let them dress like hunters if they wish. It is the stuff they harbour upstairs that matters! And integrity! Not packs of lies cloaked in suits.....by some other profession.
Hmmm... Pharmacy students....
Scientific minds....my sure preference to conceited readers of prose who tout themselves as the sole "learned" individuals!
Fine minds....just that they underrate themselves as they join up with a group much below their status! Our pharmacists! And this JOHESU!
I love fine things. Fine minds! Fine neighbourhoods! Fine cars! Fine houses! And of course fine women! Not monkey faces!
I just listened to Jim Agbaje... A fine pharmacist unfortunately likened to a patent medicine seller by Raji Fashola. Quite painful that such a fine mind would be so derided by an icon of the Lying Trade!
Fine face. Fine diction. Vintage word use....and word combinations. Dwelling on issues and not persons....unlike the incumbent. Fine speech!
Mr Agbaje confesses that he is not a typical politician. A clear depature from Koro, the consumate thug!
Lawyers are liars. Politicians are liars. Add politics to the Lying Profession in one person.....and you have a man totally lacking in integrity! My fears for Fashola....
I have encountered but scant exceptions....to this inglorious rule.....this Lawyer rule....
Then I remembered some of Jimi's colleagues in Naija Medics....vestiges of the old order save for an impressive majority....comprising Plus Asindi, Plus Fasinu, Otakho Daniel Orumwense, Andrew Agbenin.....who have stood above board!
I would eulogise any brilliant youngster reading single honours Chemistry....or Physics.....over and above some self-righteous prose addicts....pretending to embrace honesty....and claiming to be noble.... But they are an unpretentious bunch of liars! And proud to be so!
I have the misfortune of having one of them as a wife....though functionally, she rates less than a "baby mama"! Some points of disagreement....to which I expected a well-marshalled response.....using fine points of Law. But she went a-blabbing and a-babbling.....preferring to pour invectives....just like that occasional pharmacist.....unlike Jim Agbaje!
Her proxy....and alter ego....or avatar....was lying through his.....
The comment was so easy to decipher: An alias. Claiming to be "a close friend" of my family. Swearing on his mother's grave to "know Dr Akindele very well"....."having interacted closely with him for the past 20 years"! He went further to state albeit with a straight face, that he has observed Dr Akindele "not to be at peace with anybody....not his friends....not his professional colleagues....or his Pastor".
And how can I not be at peace with my friends and still keep them as friends? A veritable case of a well-tutored but dishonorable witness coached to say the damnest of things....and tell the worst of lies....under oath.....just to discredit another witness!

But wait a minute, his assertions ring of some truth....albeit crude!
Dr Akindele may not be getting along with his colleagues, but the whole nation complains of Nigerian doctors anyway!
Dr Akindele may not get along with the Nigerian government, but the whole world is disgusted with the Nigerian government!
If Dr Akindele has a Pastor, chances are low he would get along with "men of God" whose stock in trade is to ferry illicit money in ill-gotten jets....
An excerpt from one of my previous articles reads:
'Of course persons with criminal tendencies should be "at home" in situations as this. Time has shown that criminals wish for anomalous climes, strive to create, nurture and sustain them, rationalize them and thrive better in them!'
This strange witness surmised that Dr Akindele is mad. Of course he is mad at the way things go on this nation! Any rational person should.... So surprising he can maintain his sanity....in this mad nation! And let your government be alive to its responsibilities, lest Dr Akindele becomes truly mad....and starts biting people!
I know The Nigerian Law School goes the extra mile. Year in and year out. To sieve the chaff off the grain of its entrants....such that our future barristers may be truly fine gentlemen of the bar....noble in affect and in spirit!
Not a pack of liars! And crooks! Save for scant exceptions...
They backdate notices, forge documents....which they brazenly tender as court exhibits....and tutor witnesses how to tell lies under oath! It had happened to me in the past!
They are taught that ill-gotten judgements would never stand the test of appeal. But would they ever listen?
All in suits....to attend our courts....turning Temples of Justice into Synagogues of Sin.... Bribing judges!
Fine packaging! But how about the content? Banality dressed up as quality....
So, let's report more of their infractions to their disciplinary bodies...which does not brook such nonsense. Even if such misconduct is on Facebook, let's trace their internet protocol addresses...and make such reports...so their names may be expunged from the roll of lawyers!
And so I still wonder: How did I "get it up" with this woman"?
Talk about men and their libido....ever fixated on the "thing" and not the face....the bane of testosterone! The stupidity of youth! So long as the woman consents...
I am not without my own weaknesses....optimal urges then...but tamed out these days....

So brace up, pharmacists....to leave JOHESU.
