HEAVY RAINFALL SACK YENAGOA HOMES
Yenagoa - Several homes in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital have been submerged by flood following, weekend's heavy downpour.
Though this is just the beginning of the rainy season, most homes especially those in the low marshy areas of Yenagoa were completely submerged by flood waters, weekend.
Affected families were forced to shun, yesterday, church services to drain water trapped in their homes.
Vanguard gathered that the Yenizue-Gene, Biogbolo, Yenizue-Epie, Amarata, Ekeki, Onopa and Ovom areas were seriously flooded.
