YOBO,MIKEL,OSAZE BOOST EAGLES
Certainly, it is going to be a full house as Super Eagles' skipper, Joseph Yobo, West Ham's striker, Obinna Nsofor and a Chelsea's player, John Mikel Obi, are expected to arrive Monday to boost the number of players already in camp for the friendly international against Sierra Leone in Lagos on Wednesday.
Yobo was already at the Turkey Airport putting finishing touches to his travelling arrangements as at press time lastnight, as Nsofor and Mikel had already confirmed their Lagos flight before Sunday's club engagements in the English Premier League.
Reports also had it that West Brom's attacker, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, whose manager was sacked on Sunday, has arrived Lagos for the match. Against all expectations, Mikel Obi would be available for Wednesday's duel even as Wigan's Victor Moses is still in doubt.
Mikel, who returned to action for Chelsea against Liverpool on Sunday, had informed coach Samson Siasia of his readiness to honour the friendly match.
The Nigerian, who has only just returned to first team football after undergoing surgery and spending over four weeks on the sidelines, proved himself when his club battled the Reds at Stamford Bridge.
That, however, is not the case with Wigan's Moses, who is said to be developing cold feet “His advisers called to say that maybe this is not the right time for him yet, as it would be better for him to focus on establishing himself at club level.”
