Super Eagles Hold 26th Place In Latest FIFA Rankings Despite Continental Drop

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have maintained their position in the latest FIFA Men’s World Rankings, remaining 26th globally following the release of the updated standings.

While their place on the world stage remains unchanged, the three-time African champions have slipped to fourth among African nations after changes in the continental rankings.

France, England and Brazil occupy the remaining places in the top five, reflecting their strong performances over the past year.

For Nigeria, the latest rankings provide both encouragement and motivation. Maintaining a place among the world's top 30 teams demonstrates the quality within the squad, but dropping in the African standings highlights the need for stronger performances in upcoming competitive fixtures.
