Beşiktaş Reject €7 Million Offer for Wilfred Ndidi

Turkish giants Beşiktaş have reportedly turned down an approach from Saudi Arabian club Al Diriyah for Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, signalling their determination to keep one of their most influential players ahead of the new season.

Reports from Turkey indicate that Al Diriyah submitted a bid worth €7 million, but Beşiktaş rejected the proposal, believing the offer falls below the player's market value.

The club is understood to be seeking around €10 million before considering any transfer.

Ndidi has attracted growing interest during the summer transfer window following an impressive debut campaign in Turkey.

His consistent displays have reportedly caught the attention of clubs across Europe and the Middle East, making him one of Beşiktaş' most sought-after players.

The Super Eagles captain joined the Istanbul-based side from Leicester City last year and quickly became a vital part of the team's midfield.

Known for his ability to win possession, shield the defence, and control the tempo of matches, Ndidi also brought valuable leadership and experience to the squad.

Although injuries limited his playing time at different stages of the season, the 29-year-old still made over 30 appearances in all competitions, contributing goals and assists while maintaining his reputation as one of the league's most dependable defensive midfielders.

With two years still remaining on his contract, Beşiktaş are under no immediate pressure to sell and remain in a strong position during negotiations.

Unless interested clubs are prepared to meet the Turkish side's valuation, Ndidi is expected to remain in Istanbul as Beşiktaş continue preparations for another competitive campaign in domestic and European competitions.
