Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has completed a move to Turkish club Bursaspor, beginning a new chapter in his career after leaving Scottish champions Celtic.

Bursaspor officially unveiled the Super Eagles forward on Friday with a creative AI-generated announcement shared across the club's social media platforms.

The signing represents one of the club's biggest additions as it prepares for life in Turkey's second division following promotion last season.

The 29-year-old arrives as a free agent after ending his spell with Celtic, where he played an important role in the club's successful domestic campaign.

During his time in Scotland, Iheanacho contributed goals and valuable experience as Celtic secured major domestic honours.

Although reports suggested the Scottish club was interested in extending his stay, the Nigerian international opted for a fresh challenge in Turkish football.

Bursaspor will be hoping Iheanacho's experience at both club and international level strengthens their ambitions of competing for promotion to the Turkish Super Lig.

The former English Premier League striker brings years of top-level experience, having featured in Spain, England and Scotland before making the switch to Turkey.

The move also continues a busy period in Iheanacho's career. Over the last two years, the forward has represented several clubs, including Sevilla and Middlesbrough, as he searched for consistent playing opportunities before joining Celtic.

Known for his intelligent movement, finishing ability and creativity in attack, Iheanacho is expected to become a key figure in Bursaspor's squad during the upcoming campaign.

The Turkish side will be relying on the Nigerian's leadership and goal-scoring qualities as they look to build on last season's promotion and challenge for another successful campaign in the country's competitive second division.
