Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has shed light on the future of several first-team players as speculation over possible transfers continues to dominate the summer window.

Speaking ahead of the club's preparations for the new season, the Spaniard addressed reports surrounding Alejandro Garnacho, Enzo Fernandez and Nico Jackson.

Alonso acknowledged that Garnacho has attracted attention from other clubs, suggesting the winger's future remains uncertain.

Although he stopped short of confirming an imminent departure, the Chelsea boss admitted discussions are ongoing and expressed hope that any outcome would benefit all parties involved.

The Argentine forward joined Chelsea only last season but has already become the subject of transfer speculation following interest from clubs across Europe. His next destination remains unclear, with negotiations expected to continue in the coming weeks.

In contrast, Alonso indicated that he intends to keep both Enzo Fernandez and striker Nico Jackson as part of his plans for the upcoming campaign.

Jackson has returned to Stamford Bridge after spending last season on loan at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. Despite impressing during his spell in Germany, Bayern chose not to exercise the option to sign him permanently.

Alonso confirmed that the Senegalese striker will travel with the squad for their pre-season tour of Asia, describing him as an important member of the team ahead of the new campaign.

The Chelsea manager also addressed ongoing speculation linking midfielder Enzo Fernandez with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

While refusing to reveal details of their private conversation, Alonso disclosed that he has already spoken with the World Cup-winning midfielder and remains confident about working with him.

With Chelsea continuing to reshape the squad under their new manager, Alonso's latest comments provide a clearer picture of the club's transfer plans.

While Garnacho's future appears uncertain, both Fernandez and Jackson look set to remain key figures as Chelsea prepare for another demanding season across domestic and European competitions.
