Celtic Open Talks to Re-Sign Kelechi Iheanacho

Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho could be set for another spell at Celtic, with the Scottish champions actively working to secure his signature ahead of the new campaign.

The club has reportedly begun talks with the striker's representatives as it looks to strengthen its attacking options before the start of the 2026/27 season.

Iheanacho is currently available as a free agent after his previous contract came to an end, making him an attractive option for Celtic as they prepare to defend their domestic titles.

Despite uncertainty surrounding his future, the Super Eagles star made a significant impact during his last stint with the club. He delivered several important goals in crucial fixtures, helping Celtic maintain momentum in both the league and cup competitions.
