Rafiu Durosinmi Attracts Trabzonspor Interest After Pisa Relegation
Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi could be on the move again this summer, with Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor reportedly expressing interest in signing the forward from Italian club Pisa.
The 23-year-old only joined Pisa during the January transfer window after leaving Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen. However, his stay in Italy may be short-lived following the club's relegation from Serie A at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Reports from Turkey claim Trabzonspor have already opened discussions with Pisa over the possibility of bringing the Nigerian to the Black Sea club.
The Turkish side are believed to be keen on strengthening their attacking options ahead of the new campaign, with Durosinmi emerging as one of their transfer targets.
The striker is regarded as one of Nigeria's promising attacking talents, thanks to his physical presence, aerial ability and eye for goal.
His performances in Europe have attracted attention from several clubs in recent transfer windows, and Trabzonspor now appear ready to test Pisa's resolve.
Despite the growing speculation, Durosinmi remains under a long-term contract with Pisa, which runs until June 2030. The Italian club are therefore under no immediate pressure to sell unless they receive a satisfactory offer.
Transfermarkt currently values the Nigerian forward at around €7 million, meaning any potential deal is likely to require a significant financial commitment from the Turkish outfit.
It remains to be seen whether negotiations between both clubs will progress, but Durosinmi's future is expected to be one of the transfer stories to watch in the coming weeks.
