Como Completes Signing of Real Madrid Starlet Nico Paz

Italian Serie A newcomers Como have completed the signing of highly-rated midfielder Nico Paz from Spanish giants Real Madrid in a deal aimed at strengthening the club ahead of the new campaign.

The 19-year-old joins the ambitious Italian side on a four-year contract after impressing during his time in Madrid's senior squad and youth system.

Although the transfer has been finalised, Real Madrid have protected their long-term interests by including clauses that could allow the Spanish club to benefit from the player's future development.

Reports indicate that Como paid around €6 million to secure the Argentine youngster's services. However, Real Madrid are believed to have retained half of any future transfer fee as well as a buy-back option, giving them the opportunity to re-sign the midfielder if he fulfils his enormous potential in Italy.

Como manager Cesc Fabregas welcomed the arrival of Paz, describing him as one of the brightest young talents in European football.

The former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder said the club faced stiff competition from several teams but was delighted to convince the youngster to join its ambitious project.

Fabregas praised Paz's versatility, noting that he is comfortable playing both on the wing and in central attacking positions. He added that the youngster made the most of every opportunity he received with Real Madrid's first team and believes he can continue his development in Serie A.

For Paz, the move represents an important step in his young career. The Argentina youth international expressed excitement about joining Como, saying he is eager to begin working with his new teammates and contribute to the club's objectives this season.

The midfielder already has senior experience with Real Madrid, making several first-team appearances and scoring in the UEFA Champions League. His impressive displays also earned him recognition from Argentina, where he has progressed through the national youth teams before receiving a call-up to the senior squad.

Paz is not the only notable addition to Como's squad. The newly promoted Serie A side has been active in the transfer market, also strengthening with players such as Maximo Perrone and former Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto.
