Official: Lamine Yamal Becomes Unicef Ambassador

Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal has earned additional feature to his profile as he becomes United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) ambassador.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) was originally known as the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. The purpose of the organizations is to fight against child abuse and tend to all children-related issues.

Interestingly, The 17-year-old Spain winger has been appointed as the ambassador of UNICEF, and this role is purely out of altruistic motives, according to reports.

Report from Fabrizio Romano confirmed the new development stating the following statement:

Official: Lamine Yamal has become an ambassador of UNICEF, on an altruistic basis.

However, Earlier reports revealed that Yamal might recover from his injury in time to feature in Barcelona’s next match against Celta on November 23.
