Official: Dortmund Snaps Up Rising Star Beier

Borussia Dortmund have secured the services of highly-rated German striker Maximilian Beier.

The 21-year-old joins from Hoffenheim on a five-year deal, reportedly worth €30 million.

Beier impressed last season with 16 goals in the Bundesliga and has already earned international recognition.

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl expressed his delight at signing the young forward, saying, "He's very self-assured on the pitch despite his young age, and he has impressive pace, he never stops running and he poses a real goal threat."
