Nigeria’s Anthony Joshua handed a knock out to Cameroon’s Francis Ngannou in the second round of a stirring victory during Friday’s heavyweight bout in Saudi Arabia.

Redeeming his image since losing his belts to Ukrainian boxer, Oleksandr Usyk in 2022, Joshua wasted no time to announce his readiness as he knocked down the former UFC fighter, Ngannouin the first round.

A two-time heavyweight champion delivered the knockout punch at 2:38 of the second round, to send the Cameroonian star tumbling on the floor.

The knockout blow left Ngannou out cold and was down on the canvas for more than a minute and received oxygen.

This victory now puts Joshua in a good position to challenge Tyson Fury.
