AFCON 2023: Eagles Want To Beat Cote d’Ivoire Again — Musa

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa reiterated the team’s desire to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations title.

Jose Peseiro’s side will be up against hosts Cote d’Ivoire for the second time in the competition on Sunday.

The tournament decider is slated for the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan.

The Super Eagles defeated the Elephants 1-0 when the two teams met earlier in the competition.

“It’s going to be a tough game but we want to win. We have worked so hard to get to this stage of the competition and can’t afford to go home without the trophy. We beat them earlier in the competition and want to repeat that again.

The highly anticipated encounter will kick-off at 9pm Nigeria time.
