Robbers Attack Bankole's Aide In Abuja

ABUJA, August 18, (THEWILL) - The house of the Special Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Communications, Chief Kayode Odunaro was Tuesday attacked by men of the underworld around 12 midnight in the Duboyi District of Abuja.

A statement from the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Idowu Bakare said the armed robbers who gained entrance into the sitting room of residence by breaking the wall and removing burglary protectors stole all electronic gadgets in the room including a 48 inch flat screen TV set, DVD player, multi-media system and hi-fi loud speakers.

According to Bakare, the robbers however could not gain entry into the room where the adviser was with members of his family.

He said the case has been reported to the Garki Divisional Police Station and one arrest has been made while investigations into the robbery incident are on going.
