Bayern Munich Youth Cup Nigeria: FC heart academy wins Tournament
Defending champions of the National youth cup by Bayern Munich FC Hearts of Kano have claimed the trophy again, making it the second time in a row. After a day of training and two days of the tournament they played, they qualified for the finals and stopped Kidsport Academy of Lagos in a penalty shootout in the Awkacity stadium. The tournament commenced on 30th of april and ended on 2nd of may.
The hugely talented Kano boys topped their qualifying group before they went all the way to confirm their class with a hard-earned victory in the championship game.
Both finalists of this U17 competition played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the final before the Kano team triumphed 10-9 on penalties.
10 teams were invited and a total of 100 boys were featured, 10 were selected to travel to germany to futher their football career after they were brought out and acknowledged for standing out out of the 100 boys.
