Aruna Quadri Crash Out Of WTTF Championship

Nigeria's Table Tennis star, Aruna Quadri has bow out of the 2021 World Table Tennis Championship in Houston, USA.

The 33-year-old made history by becoming the first African Table Tennis player to reach the second round of the competition.

Quadri lost to Truls Moregardh in the quarter final on Sunday.

He lost four sets in the tie with the first set ended 13 -11 in favour of Truls Moregardh, who also won the second set 11-8.

Moregardh won four sets and Aruna Quadri only won two sets.

Aruna Quadri is the highest ranked African Table Tennis player in the ITTF rankings, he is placed 17th.
