Pele Opens Up On Health Challenge

Football legend Pele has assured his followers that he is now in a good condition after weeks of recuperation.

The 81-year-old underwent a surgery to remove a tumor in his colon two months ago.

He has now sent a message to his followers on social media to update them about the state of his health.

"Friends, it's been a while since we talked about this. I want to let you know that I'm fine. I feel better every day,"

"I don't think even the mask for my protection can hide my happiness. Thank you very much to all of you who send me good energy daily."

Pele is the only player to have won the FIFA World Cup trophy three times in 1958, 1962 and 1970.

He scored over 1000 goals in his career for club and country.
