Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen was in target for Napoli in a 1-0 win over Bologna away from home.

The 21-year-old who joined the Naples-based club in the summer in a big-money move from Lille has now scored two goals in the Serie A.

Osimhen scored with a glancing header from a sublime cross by Hirving Lozano in the 23rd minute.

Koulibaly thought he had increased Napoli’s lead just after the restart but his effort was ruled out after the ball hit Osimhen’s hand.

Osimhen’s goal was enough to hand the visitors the maximum points after losing their last match against Sassuolo.

Napoli will slug it out with AC Milan after the international break.

The former Wolfsburg striker was in action for 83 minutes before he was replaced by Andrea Patagna.

Osimhen is expected to join the Super Eagles squad in Benin for the Afcon qualifiers double-header tie against Sierra Leone.

He was on target in Super Eagles last match in the qualifiers against Lesotho, scoring two goals and recording one assist.
