Ighalo Eyes First Premier League Goal Against Tottenham

Manchester United Striker Odion Ighalo will be hoping to score his first Premier League goal for Manchester United, when they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Friday night.

Ighalo, joined Manchester United on loan in the January transfer window from Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season.

He made his debut against Chelsea in February in the premier league before making another appearance against his former club, Watford.

While he his yet to score in the Premier League, the former Super Eagles striker has scored in the Europa League and in the FA Cup scoring two goals in the competitions.

Manchester United will return to Premier League action with a trip to North London to take on Tottenham.

The Red Devils have a fully fit squad to pick and Ighalo is likely to be on the bench as Rashford and Pogba are expected to make the team after recovering from injuries during the lockdown.

Harry Kane and Son Heung Min are also expected to start for Tottenham.

Ighalo extended his loan deal at Manchester United until January 2021 due to the effects of the coronavirus.
