Golden Eaglets Goalkeeper, Jinadu Signs Professional Contract With West Ham

Golden Eaglets goalkeeper, Daniel Jinadu, has signed his first professional contract with Premier League Club, West Ham.

Jinadu started his football career at Chelsea before joining West Ham in 2017; he signed a two-year scholarship deal to continue his development at The Hammers’ Academy.

He has been rewarded for his exceptional performances in the U-18 category with a professional contract a few days before clocking 18.

Jinadu has made five appearances for the U-18s in the 2019-2020 season, he has been found worthy of being offered a professional contract.

He has described the new deal as a “Dream come true” and a proud moment for him and his family.

The former Chelsea young star represented England at U-15 and U-16 level before he decided to play for Nigeria at the U-17 level.

Jinadu was part of the Nigeria U-17 team that crashed out in the second round of the 2019 Fifa U-17 World Cup in Brazil after losing to the Netherlands.
