Chelsea To Cough Out £35M For Andre Onana

Chelsea according to reports emanating from Netherlands will have to stump-up the transfer fee if Andre Onana would leave Ajax.

Onana is wanted by the West London club as Frank Lampard looks to bolster his Goalkeeping position in the summer.

Ajax are reportedly set to demand for £35Million in exchange for the Cameroonian goalkeeper who is subject to a move away from Ajax. He's also on the radar of Barcelona and Paris St Germain.

Onana has massively improved since making the move from Barcelona in January 2015. The 24-year old has recorded 178 appearances since breaking into Ajax' first team at the onset of the 2016/17 season.

However, according to a report on the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea will have to shell out £35 million in order to secure the services of Andre Onana.

Should the deal pull through, Frank Lampard will have a difficult decision to make in the summer when it comes to the future of Kepa Arrizabalaga, who hasn't enjoyed life in the colors of Chelsea for the second season.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will be able to pay the £35Million clamped on the 24-year old. If this happens, it will be interesting to see if they offer Onana better terms than the likes of PSG, Barcelona and others, as they look to sort out the goalkeeping conundrum this summer.
