APC International Secretariat Plead for Inclusion of Members of APC in Diaspora that Actively Played Influential Roles in the Emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari in Ongoing Appointments.

APC International Secretariat is applauding the dissolution of boards and parastatals of immediate past administration. In fact, President Muhammadu Buhari is making smart waves; by rightly placing professionals on the spot where they are able to perform their best at the ongoing appointments.

Since Mr. President constituted a committee to compile names for appointments, coupled with the ongoing appointments, the secretariat has been receiving individuals and interest groups willingness to serve. Now is the time to buttress President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yinka Osibanjo and US Vice President Joe Biden’s statements at various instances in Washington DC., that technocrats will be called to serve in this administration. We want to reiterate call by discerning Nigerians that technocrats be sourced from Nigerians in Diaspora for obvious reasons.

Among impeccable candidates are some Technocrats-Diaspora Nigerians that actively played influential roles in the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari. The case of Prof. Isa Odidi stands out. He is the only diaspora spokesperson who was very outspoken in support for Buhari and seen at the spot light of the campaign endorsing Buhari at Eagle Square Abuja. He is also an icon here in diaspora and very competent.

Just like Prof. Isa Odidi there others equally competent and will be suitable to serve in any capacity. These include and the likes of Hajia Fatima Yusuf Usman Katsina, Mall. Sadik A Rafindadi, Dr Francis Ugbolu, Alhaji Muftau Medupin, Rotimi Oyekanmi, Ngozi Orabueze, Chief Michael O. Amuzie, Garba Sani, Pst. Jude Dickson, Dr. Baba Adam, Comrade Steve A. Tella, Halilu Haruna, Farouk Salim, Tony Ike Isama just to mention a few.

We like to reiterate to the President that Nigerians in diaspora are highly skilled and patriotic citizens with deep roots and connections in the international communities where they reside with many holding citizenships in those communities.

Again we are calling on Mr. President to tap from this "Pool" this pool of Nigerians the much needed talent in nation building which Mr. President has embarked on. Nigerians in diaspora are willing and able to offer spectacular services in all sectors of the Nigerian economy. Mr. President many of these Nigerians have been your ardent supporters for over a decade, culminating into an indefatigable support during your successful Presidential electioneering campaign. These Nigerians are among the best fit for your government. Please sir provide the opportunity for Nigerians in Diaspora to do for Nigeria what Indians and Chinese in diaspora did for their countries, helping to leap-frog their countries into industrial, technological, economical and social utopia.
