Season 8 Project Fame winner, Jeffrey Ufedo Akor, has attributed his winning to God's favour and not just his singing ability. “I think it was just God's favour upon me. I don't think it was just because of my singing.”

The singer who went home with the cash prize of N5 million, a brand new car and recording deal, explained that he would have been disappointed with himself if he had not won the competition.

He disclosed that he had earlier taken part in the competition with his brother when he was 13, but did not go far.

Jeffrey also noted that if he had not won the competition, he would have decided to give music a break for a while.

“I would have been very disappointed. I participated in a competition with my brother when I was just 13 years old, and everyone thought we were going to win. In the end we didn't get anything. So when I registered for Project Fame, my sister told me to be careful because she was sure if the first thing that happened to me occurred again, then I would just give music a break for a while. And it is true,” he told Naij.com
