President Muhammadu Buhari has been commended for stepping up efforts to dislodge the dreaded Bokoharam insurgents that have ravaged and unleashed havoc and mayhem not only in Borno but the entire North East states.

He has also been described as a courageous leader committed to stamp out corruption that has eaten deep into the fabric of the society in order to restore the lost glory and dignity of Nigeria.

The commendation was made by former chairman of the defunct National Democratic Liberty party,Alh Umaru Mohammad MAIZABURA,while fielding questions from newsmen in Maiduguri.

He said the gallantry being exhibited by the Nigerian soldiers is heartwarming and a sure way of flushing out the Bokoharam miscreants adding they don't represent the ideals of any religion.

On the 100 days in office of President Muhammadu Buhari MAIZABURA was full of praises and urged him to remain focused and be fair and do right to all manner of people in the spirit of the federal character as contained in the document he swore on oath, and further commended the security situation so far.

MAIZABURA also a serial presidential aspirant right from the days of the social Democratic party of the 3rd republic, advised the President to appoint people of impeccable pedigree in position of trust, reflecting the diverse nature of the country and to deliver the dividends of democracy to the electorates.

On opposition parties,he chided them, "do not distract the President through un constructive and flimsy criticisms but to honestly offer what will take us to the promised land".
