However, the artiste who had revealed that he was brought up by late his grandmother, continues to attribute the level of his success to her because she never gave up on making him a better person.

He paid a tribute to her recent after revealing that he was going to release an album with her name as the title. He said, "My Grandma believed in the transformation power of books. A lot of times, she would tell me, 'Read some more...'

"Even when I tell her I am done, "Read it again.' she would say, 'Except you want to end up sitting around playing draft. And asking for handout, remember how we don suffer o, make my suffer no go for nothing.' So I read like my life depended on it. Sigh! School fees never ever dey complete sef."

He admitted that he missed her company and words which gave him strength to move on in life, "I miss that woman. Rest in peace, madam Ateni Dakolo. Thank you for making me love books and knowledge."
