FIFA clears Emmanuel Sarki for Haiti
Nigeria-born Wisla Krakow forward, Emmanuel Sarki, has been cleared by FIFA to feature for Haiti national team, africanFootball.com reports.
The winger will make his debut for Haiti in a game against Chile on September 9 in Fort Lauderdale, United States.
Sarki was once thought to be on the payroll of Chelsea alongside Mikel Obi. But he did not make the grade in England, forcing him to try his luck in Belgium and Israel before he finally settled down in Poland with Wisla Krakow.
He was born on December 26, 1987 in Kaduna State.
He played for Nigeria at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Finland in 2003, but never played for the senior national team which made it possible to obtain clearance to represent Haiti, where his great-grandparents came from.
