Senator Schumer Condemns The “Disturbingly Slow And Half-Hearted Response” By The Nigerian Government

By Lawyer Janet Fashakin, NY

Happy Mother's Day to all MOTHERS and those in locus parentis to the children of the world.

On this day as USA celebrates Mother's Day, Senator Schumer held a press conference at the Nigerian Consulate in New York to condemn Boko Haram and the “disturbingly slow and half-hearted response” by the Nigerian government to the plight of the affected kids. He also called on USA govt to grant Refugee status to non-terrorist informants.

I was there to symbolically stand shoulder to shoulder with the mothers of those over 200 Chibok Kids abducted by Boko Haram in Nigeria, praying that they too will have cause to smile and celebrate Mother's Day next time around..

Appreciation to Senator Schumer for standing with the Nigeria Community. Thanks OAN.
