30 Boko Haram Terrorists Killed in JTF Ambush
The tide again turned against members of the Boko Haram sect as soldiers of the Joint Task Force (JTF) late Monday morning killed at least 30 insurgents in an ambush.
Military sources told Pointblanknews.com that the soldiers, in a well-cordinated operation, crushed the insurgents along the Benishek- Damaturu road.
According to the source, at least seven vehicles were seized as some of the lucky insurgents took to their heels.
Monday's ambush is one in a string of successes recorded by the military against Boko Haram terrorists since General Kenneth Minimah took over as Chief of Army Staff.
