Anambra governorship race: 11 govs, 30 senators for Ngige's official kick-off campaign

The candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Nov. 16 Anambra governorship election, will on Tuesday officially kick-start his campaign at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Onitsha.

This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Okelo Madukaife on behalf of the Chris Ngige Campaign Organisation in Awka on Monday.

It stated that 11 governors and 30 senators of the party have confirmed their readiness to attend the event.

'It is yet another opportunity to demonstrate to the people of Anambra State, Nigeria and to the world at large that Sen. Chris Ngige and our party are ready to for the poll.

'Ngige will again make his 12-point manifesto and compendium of his stewardship at the Senate in the past two years known to the public.

'His running mate, a two-time ace federal legislator from Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra North Senatorial District, Hon Ralph Udenze Okeke will formally be presented to the people of the state,' the statement added.
