Minister for Africa condemns bomb attack in Mogadishu

LONDON, United-Kingdom, November 8, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Responding to the bomb attack in Mogadishu today, Minister for Africa, Mark Simmonds said:

“The UK unreservedly condemns today's bomb attack near the Somali Parliament in Mogadishu. My thoughts are with the families of the victims and those injured. Coming so soon after the Somali Prime Minister announced the appointment of a Council of Ministers, this attack is a further unsuccessful attempt to disrupt the important progress being made by the new Somali government. It only serves to strengthen our resolve to continue to support the Somali people.”
