AREGBESOLA RELEASES N20M FOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Osun State Governor ,Mr Rauf Aregbesola has approved the release  of N20million to 11 communities  in the state for the execution of  various Community Development Projects.

The General Manager, Osun State Community and Social Development Projects (CSDP), Mrs. Funmi Abokede who presented the cheques on behalf of  Governor  Aregbesola said that the money represents the first tranche of the money to be given to the affected communities for  their development project.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the benefiting communities include Okuku Community and Social Development Project (C.S.D.P), Ijabe C.S.D.P, Ilo-Ile, Adetunji, Otan-Ile, Oriire, Kotejemu, Aduramigba, Adetunji Temilalaafia and Ori-Oke Oloruntosin in Osogbo.

She explained that the projects are those proposed by the affected communities themselves adding that the gesture marked the end of the first batch of the State Projects launched through the Osun CSDP.

In his message to the people of the area, Aregbesola reiterated his administration's commitment to develop every nook and cranny of the State and enjoined the benefiting communities to make judicious use of the money by executing quality and acceptable projects that will encourage the government to do more for them.

A representative of the communities, Pastor E O Olaniyi expressed gratitude to Governor Rauf Aregbesola for the gesture.
