FADAMA III GULPS N180M IN KOGI

About N180 million has been expended on FADAMA III projects across the three Senatorial districts in Kogi State, Coordinator of FADAMA in the state, Dr. Paul Ogunmola, has said.

He disclosed this during the zonal inspection of Fadama projects in Adavi, Okene and 0kehi in Kogi Central Senatorial district. He said to ensure sustainability of the projects, each group of the FADAMA Community Association (FCA) has equity form meant for saving 10 percent of their total recovery rate from the projects.

He added that the beneficiaries would be having regular monthly meetingĀ  where they will be contributing token amount for the sustainability of the projects.

The FADAMA Zonal Coordinator in North Central, Musa DalangĀ  said the states are to ensure proper implementation and growth of FADAMA projects, adding that the beneficiaries in the local governments inspected have utilized its projects fund efficiently.
