Akpabio Sacks Cabinet

UYO, April 04, (THEWILL) - The Akwa Ibom State governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, has unexpectedly ordered an immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.

The dissolution order, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a press statement seen by THEWILL on Wednesday evening.

No reason was giving for their sack.
Akpabio expressed his appreciation and that of the entire people of Akwa Ibom State to the members of the State Executive Council for their services and wished them well in their future endeavours.

The release which was signed by the Chief Press secretary to the governor, Pastor Anietie Ukpe directed the cabinet members to hand over to their respective Permanent Secretaries.
