Senate Passes 4.87tr 2012 Budget

ABUJA, March 15, (THEWILL) - The Senate on Thursday at its plenary passed a sum of N4, 877, 209, 156, 933 as budget for the year 2012.

The figure represents an increment from the N4.6 trillion originally sent by President Goodluck Jonathan, as necessitated by the need to accommodate Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment (SURE) programme and another N88 billion for subsidising premium motor spirit..
