CHELSEA YOUNGSTER BEGS MANU FOR NIGERIA'S CALL UP

Chike Kandi, has been discovered by the organisers of the camping programme organized in London by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for Under-16 players.

Kandi declared his readiness to play for any of Nigeria's junior national teams. The Chelsea's youth team striker has already represented Wales at junior level, but has shown willingness to play for Nigeria.

The player stated that there were so many talented players who turned out for the camping exercise, and their passion and enthusiasm has further fired his desire to fight for a place in any of the junior national teams.

London-based Nigerian journalist, Bolaji Oyegunle, disclosed that there are many young players like Kandi, who are keen on playing for Nigeria after the camping exercise which was supervised by former Super Eagles' coach, Samson Siasia.

Other players selected are Arinse Uade, Alex Iwobi, Keith Orenuga and Fejiri Orenuga are all from Arsenal. Ouwatomisin Adeloye, Charlton; Joseph Adebayo, Stoke City; Joshua Debayo, Chelsea; Kayode Bola, Derby County; Joshua Odunwo, Southend United; Lawson Okimeji, Leyton Orient and Fred Onyedinma from Millwall F C.
