Huhuonline.com understands that Nigeria's corrupt attorney general, Mohammed Belo Adoke has muzzled an Abuja high court to pass a 'a no case to answer' verdict in the corruption charges brought against former speaker of the house of representative,

Dimeji Bankole and his deputy Usman Nafada, by the Economic and Financial Crimes  Commission (EFCC).

The EFCC, had told the court that the duo have a case to answer regarding the misappropriation of N38 billion and criminal breach of trust instituted against them by the anti-graft agency.

This was made in response to an application which the former Speaker and his deputy filed that the EFCC lacked sufficient evidence to prosecute them after they were first arraigned on June 13, 2011, on a 17- count charge of criminal breach of trust, misappropriation and theft.

Before the judge dismissed the application, EFCC counsel, Festus Keyamo, argued that the two former lawmakers were accused of misappropriation of funds and not over-spending.

He described the application as a move to stall the trial.
