VICTORY DEPENDS ON GOD'S MERCY, EDO ACN CHIEFTAIN TELLS PDP

A chieftain of Edo State chapter of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Elder Collins Sanni, said: 'Let me remind Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its aspirants, that the race to Osadebey Avenue in 2012 does not depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. So it is God who decides who to show mercy.

'We can neither choose it nor work for it. So it depends not on human will or exertion. The race is also not for him that willeth, nor of him that runneth.

'It is not time for any aspirant jostling to clinch the seat of Edo 2012 governorship race to collapse yet. It is a long distance race that would be won by a trusted and tested personality.

'This long distance race requires a man with proven character of struggle, democratic credentials, mobiliser, a transparent man with national and international influence to lead us further and Mr. Adams Oshiomhole is the man.

'However, meat that has fat would be tested on fire when the time comes as it isn't time to collapse yet.'
