VIGEO HOLDINGS NAMES MAJI ED

Vigeo Holdings Limited, a multi-business enterprise with interest in Power, Shipping, Oil & Gas, Distribution and Financial Services, has announced the appointment of Mrs Ayodele Maji as an Executive Director.

The appointment took effect from 1st July 2011.
Maji is a graduate of the University of Lagos with over 20 years post-graduate experience. Having joined the group in 1992, she has in the course of her career, contributed to the entrepreneurial initiatives of the company including serving as Group Head, Business and Corporate Development in 1999.

Her major assignments centred on the development of the New Vigeo Enterprise, a five- year organisational restructuring and expansion programme.

In 2007, Maji was appointed the CEO of Vigeo Oil & Gas.

Having worked in the senior management cadre for over 10 years, she parades experience in international business development, marketing, key account management, production development, people management, business and financial operations.

Maji heads the company's representation at leading fora for the Oil & Gas business such as Offshore Technology Conference, Houston, USA, the Nigerian Oil & Gas Show and Offshore West Africa.

She presently heads the Vigeo Faculty, an in-house training platform, with responsibility for organising company-wide management development training sessions.

Maji serves is a Director on the board of subsidiary company, Datatech Energy Service Limited. She has attended several management development programmes and is an alumnus of Lagos Business School Senior Management Programme (2000).

Also, she has been a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Nigerian Gas Association respectively.
