Justice Latifat Bisola Okunu of an Ikeja High Court, yesterday, fixed May, 20 to deliver ruling on the bail applications by former Managing Director of Finbank Plc, Mr. Okey Nwosu and three other bank executives.

Nwosu and the three other former banks officials, Mrs Agnes Ebubedike, Mr. Danjuma Ocholi and Dayo Famoroti, who are standing trial for alleged stealing and illegal conversion of funds belonging to FinBank Plc, were last week arraigned by the Economic and Finacial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The court deferred ruling on the bail applications after hearing the submissions made by the counsel representing the prosecution and defense .

Chief Anthony Idigbe, SAN, who appeared for Nwosu and the three others told the court that his clients have filed four applications which have been served on the prosecution.

Idigbe argued that pending applications before the court included notice of preliminary objection to the charges, the motion for bail and the motion to quash the charges.
