The Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has commiserated with the Editor of The Sunday SUN, Mrs. Funke Egbemode over the sudden demise of her husband, Mr Nicholas Egbemode.

Mimiko, who expressed regret over the death of Mr. Egbemode which he described as very painful and a sad more so in view of fact that he died at an unripe age of 53 years, prayed for the repose of the deceased.

The Governor, in a condolence message to Mrs Egbemode on Sunday, however, urged her not to allow the sad incident to deter her from forging ahead with life and taking care of the children left behind by her doting husband.

'Since the inevitable has happened and in view of the fact that we cannot query the will of God in a matter like this, the best is to accept the sad incident and forge ahead with life. You should continue to live for your children and your profession and your teeming readers whose lives you have been touching through your highly cerebral, didactic and informed column.

'On behalf of my family and the good people of Ondo State , I want to commiserate with you over this sad incident. May God give you and the entire Egbemode family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Kindly accept our sympathy and condolences please.
