FINESSE ENTERTAINMENT BERTHS WITH FIVE NEW ACTS

To further strenghthen the nation's showbiz scene, Finesse Entertainment, recently berthed with so much promises and packages for the industry, especially up and coming acts. The Lagos-based outfit was set up to co-ordinate the production, manufacturing, distribution, marketing and promotion of sound recording and music videos. It is also set to hunt and discover talents and equally provide enhanced platforms for artistes' management.

Finesse Entertainment announced its presence with the recent signing of five up and coming artistes, all intending to promote solo careers for themselves. Meanwhile, ahead of the formal introduction of these budding artistes, the record label has put together, a debut effort - a mix tape of sort, made up of classic songs.

'These are songs that the audience will relate to while taking their time to listen to the individual efforts of each of the artistes. The mixtape constitutes of 19 tracks with a vast display of creativity and wordplay from the acts. Of this effort is the release of a debut video, 'Blow a candle' by T-Rex; which speaks volume on the state of our nation, and is a general call to his fellow Nigerians to be wise in choosing their leaders - the video was released a couple of days ago,' hinted Hembadoon Ande, the outfit's media consultant.

The talented and emerging crooners are, Blaq Shyne, born Jubril Olawale Buraimoh, he hails from Lagos State but grew up in Kano. Femi Knight, born Femi Asani, an indigene of Kogi State. Classiq, was born Barnabas Buba into a family of three, he hails from Bauchi and is a graduate of Bayero University Kano with honours in Computer Science.

Ene'gma, born Ene Adobunu comes from Benue State, and is a graduate of film production/journalism, from a school in India. She was part of the top 10 artistes at Naija Sings Kano. The last man standing in the group is, T-Rex. Tyrannosaurus Rex is a graduate of the University of Lagos; an electrical electronics engineer currently in the telecoms sector. He hails from Delta state and has spent most of his music career behind the scenes.
