WARRI-FOLLOWING the approval of the Oil and Gas Pipeline Surveillance by the Federal Government and the controversy surrounding it, the Delta Central HOSTCON youth wing has said  that 'no Host Communities engagement in the surveillance, no pipeline surveillance.'

The youths stated this at a meeting of the Urhobo Host Communities youths at Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. The youths  in a statement  by Mr  Lucky Sorhue, President; Mr Vincent Ogaga, Secretary and the Eight Urhobo Ethnic Nation LGA HOSTCON youth wing Chairmen, said that their  meetings at  various places with late President Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar' Adua,  led to the establishment of the pipeline surveillance by the Host Communities harboring the nations oil and gas facilities.

The statement added that oil and gas all over the world involve a triad of the government, the companies and the communities for smooth operation.
