INEC Publishes List Of Candidates .....With Eighteen Presidential Hopefuls

The Independent National   Electoral Commission (INEC) has made available the list of candidates for the presidential and governorship elections in the forthcoming general elections.    

  The list shows that 18 candidates from different political parties are vying to be President while 16 candidates are seeking election for the governorship seat in Lagos State .  

 
  The list for the presidential elections has President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo,   vying for election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while Nuhu Ribadu and his running mate, Sunny Stephen Ugochukwu are seeking the same seat on the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Pastor Tunde Bakare   are seeking the mandate of the people on the platform of the Congress of Progressive Change (CPC), Ibrahim Shekarau and his running mate, John Odigie-Oyegun are presidential and vice presidential candidates of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).  

 
  Prof. Pat Utomi is vying for the presidency with Lawal Funtua, his running mate under the Social Democratic Mega Party (SDMP) while Dele Momodu is seeking election to be President with Yunusa Tanko as his running mate under the National Conscience Party (NCP).  

 
  Ebiti Onoyom Ndok and Galadima Samari were produced by the United National Party for Development (UNPD) as presidential candidate and his running mate respectively, while the People for Democratic Change has Mahmud Mudi Waziri and Clement Ayogu Eze as presidential candidate and running mate.  

 
  The Fresh Democratic Party (FDP) has Reverend Chris Okotie; the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has Barrister Chris Nwaokobia, the Mega Progressive Peoples Party (MPPP) has Rasheed Adewale Shitta-Bey   while   Nwadike Batos Chikezie is standing election through the Peoples Mandate Party (PMP),  

 
  Yahaya kingsley Ezeemoo Ndu wants to be president on the platform of the African Renaissance Party (ARP), Akpona Solomon; National Majority Democratic Party (NMDP), Ambros Awuru and his running mate, Ibrahim Abdullahi; sHope Democratic Party (HDP).  

 
  The Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP) produced Iheanyichukwu Godswill Nnaji for the presidency and Kadijat Abubarkar as his running mate, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) produced Prof. Peter Nwagwu for the presidency while Mani Ibrahim Ahmad is his running mate.  

 
  For the governorship   election in the State, Governor Babatunde Fashola is standing for election with Victoria Ajoke Adefulire   as his running mate on the platform of the ACN, Abayomi Nurain is seeking the same seat with his running mate, Ajibade Emiabata-Balogun, on the platform of the CPC, and Michael Adegbola Dominic and his running mate, Itesi Chinyere Helen, on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and Adegboyega Dosunmu and his running mate, Katherine Olayinka Eniafe-olatunji, on the platform of the PDP.  

 
  Others include: Michael Niyi Osoyemi and his running mate, Toyin Esther Olaniyi on the platform of the NNPP, Oluwaniyi balogun Tope and his running mate, Ola Ashinowo Christ, on the platform of the African Liberation Party (ALP), Abayomi Olatunji Asunni and his running mate, Sonnie Ekwowusi, on the platform of the NTP.  

 
  Others also include: Daniel Abiodun Tawede; MPPP, Akele Ayodele; NCP, Akinola Obadia and his running mate, Lizzy Popoola; Community Party of Nigeria (CPN), Victor Adeegboyega Adeniji and his running mate, Babalola Morounmubo Linda; Peoples redemption Party (PRP), Akintola Bello and his running mate, Martin Ayaegbunam; Nigerian People's Congress (NPC), Osagiede Lugard and his running mate, Lawal Sikirat; ADC, Olulana Olurotimi Michael; Labour Party (LP).  

 
  The Social Democratic Mega Party (SDMP) has Bashorun J.K. Randle and ANPP has Yomi Tokoya as governorship candidate while Barrister Nkechi Chukwueke is his running mate.
