Ladoja's Campaign Organ. berates Akala on Doctors and Health Workers strike

The Director-General of Senator Rashidi Ladoja campaign organization Honourable Adeolu Adeleke has berated the Oyo State government for allowing the doctors and health workers strike to last this far.  He expressed the organization's displeasure and the non-challant attitude of the Otunba Adebayo Akala's led government towards the protracted strike.  All the medical doctors, nurses and allied health workers across the 33 local governments have enbacked on strike.

Honourable Adeleke stated that the government has shown that they are not considerate to the plight of the citizens.  He noted that the government spent money to buy more than 100 vehicles for Akala's second term bid when the lives of the citizens were left to waste away or even die if that will allow them to have their way.  The campaign chief of Senator Ladoja's governorship organization concluded on the health issue by saying that those who know the value of life will not play with it.

In another development, the Senator Ladoja's campaign organization's Director-general Adeolu Adeleke has commended the media, people, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the ongoing voters registration exercise.  He noted that the exercise has not been very smooth as people have gone through hardship to get registered.

The campaign Director-General expressed displeasure over the attitude of some supporters of the Oyo State deputy governor, Alhaji Taofik Arapaja who are in the habit of tearing Senator Rashidi Ladoja's posters.  The campaign chief urged politicians in the state to imbibe the spirit of political tolerance.

Meanwhile, Honourable Adeleke has reassured the people of Oyo State that Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja will contest the April 16, 2011 governorship election under Accord.  He enjoined the people of Oyo State to discard the rumour that he (Senator Ladoja) will no more contest for the governor seat.  Honourable Adeleke urged the good people of Oyo State to continue mobilizing people for Senator Rashidi Ladoja as health issues will be adequately tackled by his government as he did between 2003 – 2007.

UNDERAGE STUDENTS CAUGHT IN THE VOTERS REGISTRATION EXERCISE

The long arm of the law caught up with politicians who use underage students to register in the on going voters registration exercise at Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo state.  Vigilant citizens halted what would have been another round of registration by underage students of Ifesowapo community high School, Lagunju Village, Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State.

 
According to one of the subjects (Name withheld), the school vice principal allowed a politician Dr. Adeyanju Ajao working for the ruling party in the state to take the students out for illegal registration.  The students at the Oluyole Police station in Idi Ayunre confirmed that they had registered somewhere else before they were caught.

When the news of the incident got to the parents of the students, they rushed to the Local Police headquarters where they rained abuses on the politician Dr. Ajao Adeyanju of Ajao Hospital at Ajao bus stop, Ona Ara, Ibadan

Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja has called on all the citizens of Oyo state to discard the rumour that he has endorsed another person to vie for the governorship election in Oyo State.  Speaking further, Senator Ladoja noted that his willingness to service is not hinged on any motive other than service to the people.

Senator Ladoja enjoined the people of Oyo State to come out and register in the on going voter registration exercise.  He charged those who have registered but have not got their cards to ensure they get their cards as it is the only means to exercise their voting right in the general elections.  He concluded that those who have not completed their registration should do it now by making sure that their ten fingers are captured properly.
