Muyiwa Collins is dead

 
Muyiwa Collins the national youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has died. Collins who has been ill for some time , died of heart failure at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Lagos.

Collins, who was a very popular cartoonist for various newspapers, became active in the PDP after quitting journalism. He was cartoon editor for Punch, Tribune, Champion and Republic at various times.

Collins is survived by one wife and four children, including a one-month old. His remains have been moved to a morgue in Lagos.

Otunba Muyiwa Solanke Collins, the National Youth Leader was born in Lagos State on December 25th 1961.
