An Abuja High Court has dismissed a suit by three loyalists of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar seeking to stop the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from allowing President Goodluck Jonathan from contesting the January 13 presidential primaries.

Second Republic Govenor of old Kaduna State, Alhaji Lawal Kaita, a former envoy, Ambassador Yahaya Kwande, and a former minister, Chief Dubem Onyia had approached the court to stop the party from allowing Jonathan participate in the presidential primary election.

But delivering judgment, Justice Ishaq Bello dismissed the plantiff's prayers, insisting that it was premature to seek to stop Jonathan when he has not been nominated as the party's candidate.
