Military Apprehends Wanted Soldier Accused Of Supplying Uniforms, Other Tactical Gear To Terrorists

In a major breakthrough, troops from the 7 Provost Group under Operation HADIN KAI have apprehended Private Mohammed Yusuf, a wanted Nigerian Army soldier accused of supplying military uniforms and gear to terrorist organizations in the North-East. Security sources confirmed that Yusuf, who was stationed at the Nigerian Army Ordnance Training Facility (NAOTF) in Lagos, was captured on July 25 during a targeted, intelligence-led operation in Borno State.

According to security sources, the suspect had allegedly absconded from his assigned unit before traveling to Maiduguri on July 7. Once in the state capital, he went into hiding to evade capture after learning he had officially been declared wanted by the Nigerian Army.
