VERSE OF THE DAY: Proverbs 16:5

Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; Though they join forces, none will go unpunished.

What is Pride?

Pride means a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements or having an attitude of "I am better" and have done better than you.

When someone is Proud he or she will have attitude of:

"Disrespect,

"Insubordination - no longer submit to those in authority

"Feeling too familiar with God

"Refuse to participate with people you feel are not in your league or level

If you raise your shoulder in pride, pride can kill you. If you behave as though you are responsible for your success, you can crash or even die.

Therefore, always remember where you are coming from and always remember where He brought you from.

Advise: Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves - Philippians 2:3

1 Peter 5:6

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

Beloved, avoid the way of pride, humble yourself before God and man.

Prayer: Lord, I receive the grace to humble myself in Jesus' Name. Amen.
